Ralfonso Photographic Art for Public Spaces

Proposal for the Jacksonville Airport for a monumental two 244 ft long by
6-8ft high Mural - in cooperation with Greg Ross.

THE MYSTICAL CITY OF ORSIRIS

A MONUMENTAL, COLORFUL, PAINTERLY MURAL

 The two almost 250 ft long mural sections tell the story of Orsiris, a mystical City located in
the idyllic setting of warm waters, gigantic trees and tranquil sunsets.

This image is actually a complete 3D world which has been created in a CAD
(Computer Aided Drafting) program, then color enhanced and painted-over.

Created after the fashion of the American painter Maxwell Parrish, the varied scenery allow
a sense of discovery for the wandering eye, from the details of the Cityscape to the radiant
and inviting colors of this tropical setting.

Please note that this is just a general design concept  – the final image will have even greater
details, such as birds, boats, people, etc – and the story of Orsiris to go with it...

Two impressive continuous 244’ by 6’ to 8' mural segments, yielding an approximate total of a
gigantic, 3,000 SF tapestry of imagery.

We suggest to go with fade-resistant Lightjet photographic FujiFlex paper with a 5ml UV
protective laminate and put it up like wallpaper with butt fit seams for a clean and almost
“seamless” look.

Alternatively we can go with a vinyl wallpaper, high resolution, 720dpi with a UV laminate
and overlapped seams.
