KUBUS
Outdoor, large kinetic
water sculpture for public places.
KUBUS is a water -driven
kinetic stainless steel sculpture. Between 6 to 10
Metallic Cubes are arrayed in decreasing sizes inside
one another. As water pressure from the central support
below floats all cubes they slowly begin to move, -
unpredictably - within one another, while water falls
from the 3 round voids. The voids give view to all of
the cubes as they move. Due to the unpredictable water
distribution, KUBUS is always in a gentle motion.
At night, the motion of the cubes create
interesting moving light reflections on the surrounding
water surface.
KUBUS wants to be integrated
into a fountain base, pond or lake.
