kINETIC aRTCube Tower Outdoor, large kinetic motor-driven sculpture for public places.
Cube Tower is a motor-driven kinetic stainless steel sculpture, which will be highly recognizable due to its counter- rotating 5 cubes. Light and Shadow play on the different angled faces, counter-pointed by the square wind - channels. CUBE TOWER is a motor-driven, kinetic sculpture, created from stainless steel, which can be either highly polished to a chrome-like finish (see first image), or painted with bright colors (see 2nd image above). It can be lit with programmable color RGB LEDs from inside, so the wind-channels actually glow in different and changing colors, as the cubes rotate around their vertical axis. At night, ground spotlights highlight the gleaming sculpture surfaces creating ever-moving light reflections. An invisible internal vertical pole creates the vertical axis. Each cube is centered on high precision ball bearings, allowing it to turn easy. Due to the different orientation of the wind-channels, the cubes rotate in alternating directions. Due to the different size and weight (inertia) the cubes also rotate at different speeds.Cube Tower is looking for a major HOTEL, MALL, OFFICE LOBBY, or similar plaza, building or campus.
